About Us
Africaress Program, founded in 2022, is a non-profit organisation which uses the power of humanity to transform learning for children and women, specially girls and marginalised women from urban and rural areas in Africa.
It enables children and women to create and experience training and educational means, trains teachers to sustain and grow the activity, host exhibitions and aid campaigns to be created by children and women, engages the community for dialogue, and promotes children’s works as voices and stories at various national and international platforms.
Gender remains a cross-cutting theme in all Africaress programs. We work extensively with children, especially girls, in private, non-profit, low-income and public schools and with urban and rural communities, from continental to grassroots level, from all socio-economic, ethnic and cultural backgrounds in Africa. Thus most of our workshop and event participants are girls and young women, and our campaigns advocate for girls’ education and equal access to opportunities.
We created the “Equity to Loud” project which represents how all has equity in the world beyond their gender and talks loudly about it through Africaress program campaigns.
Africaress is founded to be the first Afro-European organisation founded in Turkey to have organised art festivals and continental art competitions for children. We started working across Germany, Turkey and Africa with partners who are wiklling to put efforts in this good cause. We are also establishing to work as consultants for various organizations in Africa and Europe to play a bridge role where we have roots in Africa and hands in Europe.
